Chris Thomson

Northsound's programme director

Chris is Northsound's Progamme Director and is responsible for everything you hear on-air, including Northsound 1, Northsound 2, Northsound News and everything in between!  He is a member of the Northsound Radio Board.  Chris has been with Northsound for 9 years, having spent many years broadcasting before moving into management.  He can often still be heard on many special broadcasts across the station.
Tom Smith

Managing Director, Nessco

Tom is Managing Director of Nessco Ltd, the UK’s largest independent telecommunications company.
Tom was born and raised in Aberdeen and has served as President of the Chamber of Commerce and has also chaired the Aberdeen branch of the Institute of Directors. He is a non executive director of Univation Ltd, the commercial arm of RGU and co-chairs the UK O&G Industry Leadership Team. Tom is married to Yvonne and has one daughter, enjoys a wide variety of sports when time and energy permits.

Andy James

 Presenter of the Drive time show on Northsound1 (4 till 7) for the last 2 years. Andy has Worked for Northsound for over 8 years and in that time has helped raise money for cash for kids in a number of interesting ways.  Including a full chest wax, auctioning himself off for a dinner party and having a Mohican!
